Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it reaches the right temperature for baking.
In a large mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and sour cream together. Mix until the consistency is smooth and creamy.
Gently fold in half of the shredded cheddar cheese, then stir in the drained corn, diced jalapeños, chopped green onions, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and season with salt and black pepper. Ensure all the ingredients are well combined.
Spoon the mixture into an appropriately sized baking dish. Use a spatula to smooth the top evenly, ensuring it’s nicely spread. Finish by sprinkling the remaining shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the surface.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. The dip is ready when it is bubbly and the cheese has melted into a rich, golden layer.
Once removed from the oven, allow the dip to cool for a few minutes to make it easier to serve.
Serve the dip warm, accompanied by crunchy tortilla chips or colorful veggie sticks for dipping.
